WHEN REMOVING,INSTALLING,REPAIRING OR REPLACING PARTS > REPAIR PROCEDURE OF HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
  3. If the installation brackets of the headlight assembly are damaged, use the supply retainers for low-cost repair.
  4. Ensure that the headlight assembly is not damaged.


INSTALL UPPER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER

  1. Cut off the part shaded in the illustration and sand smooth with sandpaper.

    NOTICE:
    After cutting off the part, place the upper headlight protector retainer against the bosses and gradually file away the old bracket if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

  2. Install the upper headlight protector retainer with the 2 screws.


INSTALL UPPER NO. 2 HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER

  1. Cut off the part shaded in the illustration and sand smooth with sandpaper.

    NOTICE:
    After cutting off the part, place the upper headlight protector retainer against the bosses and gradually file away the old bracket if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

  2. Install the upper No. 2 headlight protector retainer with the 2 screws.


INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER

  1. Cut off the part shaded in the illustration and sand smooth with sandpaper.

    NOTICE:
    After cutting off the part, place the lower headlight protector retainer against the bosses and gradually file away the old bracket if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.
